Film

Khadifa started in film directing and producing award-winning shorts including, The Woman Who Knocked on My Door, Lunar Park and Mondays.

Uprooted is her debut feature documentary.


Theatre

Khadifa had previous work in theatre as a dancer and then as a West End costume dresser and an assistant supervisor for the Royal Opera House. She made her directing debut with Somebody Jone’s BLACK WOMEN DATING WHITE MEN. After gaining experience assisting Kwame Kwei-Armah, Adjoa Andoh and Tom Littler Khadifa has gone on to direct several plays and rehearsed readings in partnership with Somebody Jones.

Screen Director

Khadifa was approached by the National Theatre in 2020 to mix her love of film and theatre and be a freelance member of their NT Live team. In addition, the NT helped facilitate Mentorship and Training with renowned Director Robin Lough so that Khadifa could also work on NT Live Cinema broadcasts. Credits with the NT include, Rockets and Blue Lights, All of Us and Best of Enemies.
